The art work I choose this week is from Casey Kotas. I think this is an beautiful arrangement of colors and it appears that part of the image is in water and the other part is above surface. In creating his work, he uses various software applications.
The initial objects are rendered utilizing fractal generating and rendering software and performs substantial post processing with image editing software. He believes his work is complex and multi-layered. Casey Kotas, sees his computer as another tool in the arsenal, just like a paintbrush and paints, or a hammer and chisel.
Light, color, design... that is the pure language of 2D art. Great piece.
