MOCA Week 4

This week I picked an image by the artist Georgia Bassen titled Fading Man.  There wasn’t any information about this artist on the MOCA web site, nor was there very much on her personal web page.  All that I could learn was that she works in a variety of mediums, silver, metal clay, Pate de Verre, cold enameling, and digital imaging.

I picked this image because I was drawn to the surrealistic, fantastical aspects of the image.  It appears as though someone is looking through a lens from a different dimension.
